What to expect and gain from sessions with Sharon
Sharon’s approach is from a spiritual and compassionate perspective. She guides individuals to explore their lives in a safe, nurturing setting empowering them to move toward a resolution of problems and forward on the path to healing and a sense of well-being. Her holistic heart-centered approach usually includes how to bring mindfulness into your daily life, and often concludes with a guided meditation.
You will learn concrete techniques to improve anxiety, depression, self-esteem, positive body image, and self-compassion. You will learn strategies to decrease trauma, deal with grief and loss, and improve your ability to find forgiveness. She offers traditional modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy, as well as relaxation techniques for sleep and reducing stress. Sharon has been a yoga teacher since 1996, and a licensed mental health therapist from 2009-2023. She brings this unique, eclectic perspective to her sessions.
